This old nissan bluebird is an awesome car, very reliable, solid and nice to drive. It will brings you wherever you want like it did for us during our recent NZ tour. Neither the hills nor the gravel roads can worry it.
Lot of space (we've been travelling with a baby and all the gear needed, the boot does have a big containance).
This car is cheap on diesel (low consumance and better price at the pump) : about 700 km with one fill.
The battery is brand new.

About the bad points, the motor has a red tape, that is covering the air pipe where it had some holes, it is about $200 for a new pipe so we chose to have the tape mending it rather than the new pipe, as it is just where the air travels to the filter, not a major problem. This has been fine for the last 11 months since doing it.
The back seat has a piece of the foam broken off at the top right when you have the door open you can see it, I have shown a photo with this.
The inside is as per an "old" vehicle rather than a new one, but it has cleaned up rather well.
The back of the car looks clean now but it does get coloured by the diesel fumes, the car shows smoke when you are accelerating up a hill or something. But I have had the mechanics make this minimised as possible and for the past 5 years it is running like this but is not that the motor is blowing blue smoke or anything needing major repair.
The boot catch is operated from inside by the drivers seat and sometimes you need to press the boot down before you pull the handle lever (ie it sticks).
You cannot have the windows open if driving on a dusty gravel road as that makes the dust come inside, and the boot can get dusty from gravel roads. On sealed roads is no problem.
That's all there is... Nothing major and the car just flies through WOF every times.
