Nepal (tour de l'Annapurna)
A toute personne tentée par un trek au Népal, je recommanderai le circuit de l’Annapurna, qui fait le tour de la montagne par deux vallées et franchit un col à 5.416 mètres. Je l’ai fait cet été. C’est une inoubliable randonnée de 18 à 21 jours, sans grande difficulté. La mauvaise nouvelle, c’est qu’une route est en train d’être construite et que la randonnée va perdre beaucoup de son intérêt. Il faut donc se presser. Je recommanderai également une petite agence locale de trek, Lili Trek, qui dépend d’un hôtel de Pokhara, l’hôtel Nirvana (hotelnirvana@hotmail.com). Ils ont totalement organisé notre trek, pour un prix très inférieur à celui proposé par les grandes compagnies internationales ou même locale. Nous avions un guide très compétent, Hari Nepali, qui a pris le plus grand soin de nous, a rendu le trek extrêmement plaisant et dans des conditions matérielle très satisfaisantes, tout en nous permettant un contact avec la population que nous n’aurions autrement pas pu avoir.

Nepal (Annapurna circuit)
To anyone interested to do a good trek in Nepal, I will recommend the Annapurna circuit, which goes round the mountain and reaches a pass (at 17. 769 ft or 5.416 m). I did it this spring. It is a 18 to 21 days trek and really wonderful. It is not even difficult. The bad news is that the road is coming up, slowly, and the interest of that trek will be gone in a few years. So, one has to go quickly. I will also recommend a small Nepalese company we found (Lili Treks) parent to Nirvana Hotel in Pokhara (hotelnirvana@hotmail.com). They have arranged everything for us for a very fair price, much less than any big operator scheme. We were provided an extremely good guide, Hari Nepali, who took great care of us and made the trek extremely enjoyable, in fairly good lodging conditions, also providing a good contact with the population.
